It's No Good

Yesterday was a craptacular day! And I really shouldn't say the whole day was because it was actually only the first like 4 hours after I woke up! But I have been battling with a certain something for probably what seems like the past year...haha! Well, not that long but close to it. Yesterday I woke up and something happened that just completely ticked me off and filled me with a lot of anger..haha. And I am not an angry person at all. I do have a short fuse, but I have definitely got better with that. I left my house pretty irritated and went and worked out. I almost hyper-ventilated on the elliptical because I just kept thinking of things and getting myself worked up. So, on the way home some car pissed me off and as I was turning and she was driving by I flipped her off and screamed something at her. Now, mind you she was already angry with me because in Los Angeles everyone is in a hurry and if you don't move fast enough people get pissed and start honking at you. But anyway, after I did that to her I drove away laughing and telling myself, "Wow! That was stupid!"..haha!! But it was one of those times when you just didn't want to mess with me. As the day progress I calmed down a great deal and my anger turned more to just a sadness I suppose. But it was good yesterday because I didn't really talk to anyone and pretty much hung out by myself. I probably need more days like that. And I mean days on the weekend like that! What I am battling with is all me! It's nothing serious when all is said and done. It's my own emotional turmoil! And I really only want to talk about it with a select few! Anyhoo, today I have to go to work as that happens at times, which is fine! It might be good to go to work on a Sunday and just keep my mind off of things. I usually hate Sundays because they just suck to me!! Oh bother....

Give Me A Break

You know what I always find fascinating? I find it fascinating how many actresses out there say that they were ugly ducklings growing up. And when you look at them now they are hotter than shit! I read all the gossip magazines and such because I am obsessed with celebrities and the entertainment world. I always see articles on these hot ladies who says that at one point everyone thought they were ugly. For example, look at Eva longoria!! Do you actually think that at one point in Eva's life she was considered "ugly"? And then, when they sit and say that it amazes them that everyone thinks they are sexy and they don't even think anything of it. ARE EFFIN KIDDING ME? They know how hot they are!! GIVE ME A BREAK!!

Elevator Love Letter

Let us discuss elevators and how awkard they are. My roommate and I talk about this all the time. We have an elevator in our building that we take the majority of the time. Elevators in general are just so uncomfortable when there are other people in them that you don't know. The worse thing is when there are two people who know each other and you don't know either of them and you kind of get on and stare at the ceiling hoping you don't fart or make weird noises for whatever reason. There are always those times when someone thinks the elevator has stopped on their floor and are shocked when they step out and realize it is not their floor. So, they quickly run back on the elevator as the doors are closing almost to be smashed by them. Sometimes you feel like you should make conversation with the other person but do not usually know what to say. So, you do what both my roommate and I have done and say, "Did you just move in?" Usually, they respond with, "No, I've been here for over a year!"..OOPS! HAHAHA!!!I can never make eye contact with my friend in the elevator when other people are on it as well because I am immature and will seriously start breaking down into laughter. I can't help it. It's just what I do.!

USC

Last night I went to the USC game with one of my friends. I love my football. It was fun walking around on the campus and seeing all of the "die-hard" fans. It made me think of my days at good ole' CU and how much I enjoyed the days of football games. It also made me think of how I have been out of college for four years now and I see all these students at USC walking around and I am just like, "ENJOY IT WHILE YOU CAN!! PLEASE!"..haha!! Anyhoo, it was a lovely time and I finally feeling almost 100% since my Vegas trip! At the end of the evening we went to Hooters!! What better way to end the evening then with wings and uh..HOOTERS!! HAHA!!

FUN TIMES

I went to Vegas this past weekend!! I have to say that it was an absolute blast. It's good to be with friends, but at the same time makes me miss the ones I don't see so much more. I am still recovering from the long weekend and I think I have caught a bit of a cold. I promise to write more later, but for now I am going to watch 90210 and reminisce about the days of old..:)

The Rules Of The Self Checkout Line

Yes, I know I have tackled this issue before. But that is what it is to me. It is an issue. I spend around 2-3 times a week in the self-checkout line because I never seem to get everything I need in one trip. Oh, and not to mention I love salad bars so I am always getting a salad but that isn't an issue right now...
Anyhoo, in observing the self-checkout line today I decided to come up with a list of guidelines to follow while partaking in the self-checkout line. :)

1. If you have never been through this process maybe give yourself a trial run. Pick a snickers out or your favorite candy of choice and just go try to use the self checkout machine. One item can't get you frazzled and you can take a little more time to get to know the screen and the buttons because you only have one item.

2. Never lean against the self-checkout machine. I don't know why but just don't do it. It causes the whole thing to go to hell. JUST DON'T DO IT!

3. I believe it says around 15 items or less but do yourself and the rest of us a favor and maybe only take a maximum of like 9 items through the line. :)

4. Don't purchase huge things through the self checkout line. Don't get a bulk of toilet paper, paper towels, four things of laundry detergent, and so on..It just takes up way too much space.

5. Don't scream in a tiraid when it is not working for you. Because two things will happen. Well, maybe more than two things...One, you will look like a complete idiot. Are you an idiot? I mean I really don't think you want people to think you are an idiot. Two, you'll have someone smartass person like myself come up to you and say in an extremely sarcastic voice, "You just have to push this button!"

6. There is always a way of getting the cashiers attention, other than screaming at he/she. You make eye contact. You kind of lean your body and your head towards he/she. You keep looking at the screen and he/she.

Now, those are just some guidelines that I think would help everyone out and make the shopping experience much better for all of us! If you have any questions feel free to write me an email..:)

We are done!

So, inventory is finally over. It actually wasn't that bad this year. Not that anybody cares but we were very much prepared and the actual inventory when fairly smoothly. However, this next week will be probably total chaos trying to get things back in order from last week's inventory events. Fortunately, I have Vegas to look foward to at the end of the week. I have no money really to go, but I have put it in my head that I just need to do it. We have been planning a trip to Vegas since I moved here and I am looking at the next 8 months of my life and just feel I need to have one last weekend of complete "FUN!" Meaning, I need a week of splurging. We are approaching the holiday season, which means I will pretty much have no time to do anything that would require me to leave the state. Thank God I do not like gambling! :)
