It's Flipping Hot And It's Only April

Oh My Word!! It is so hot right now. I don't have air conditioning either. I know that last summer was hot and I'm trying to remember how I dealt with it without air conditioning. I'm thinking of getting a window unit air conditioner installed because if it is so ridiculously hot..haha. If it is only April, imagine how it will be when summer actually hits. Anyhoo, my girl comes into town Thursday night.,.YAYA. We are going to celebrate my bday with some friends. And the week after I believe my father and stepmom come into town. May is always a good month.

Multi-Tasking

I was lifting weights the other day and I was observing an older woman on the elliptical. She was eating strawberries, drinking water, listening to music, and doing a sodoku puzzle all at the same time while she was on the elliptical. TALK ABOUT MULTI-TASKING. I sat there and watched in amazement and also started giggling at the sight of it. I can't do anything when I'm on the elliptical or running or even walking on the treadmill. I get dizzy just switching songs on my ipod. I don't know how she did it or does, but I'm impressed. :)

#1 Don't Do At Starbucks

Rule #1:

While waiting for your drink at Starbuck's do not stand right at the little round counter where your drink will be given to you. That's how drinks get mistakenly taken by other people and I hate having to walk up there and grab my drink while someone else is breathing down my neck. Thanks! :)

USPS Craziness

I'm at the post office today standing in line waiting to mail a package for my niece. Usually, I just go to the automated priority mail machine to send packages because it is quick and easy. However, this time my the package I had was a little bigger and I had to actually talk to a person regarding it. The line at a post office is always long and that's always a number of different types of people waiting. So, of course people get pissed off because they have to wait and nobody speaks English..haha. I'm standing there watching a guy yell at another guy because he's taking too long and I can't help but laugh to myself because I work in customer service. I deal with this shit all day and it always amazes me that people can get that worked up over having to wait an extra 10 minutes. Needless to say, it was hilarious and I live for seeing people go ballistic over the tiniest things..hehe.

I love the Ocean

I went to the beach for about an hour or so after work today. It was fabulous. There's a point where the waves stop crashing against each other for about 10 seconds and it goes completely silent. The ocean is peaceful anyway but at that moment it seems perfect. It's really nice to go there after work and unwind. I like living here..teehee.

How Much Longer?

I am wondering how much longer I'm going to keep writing on this blog. I just don't have a lot to say anymore. When I first moved here it was like I had something to say every minute of every day. Now, I have to sometimes dig deep to find something to write about. I also use to write in a journal everyday since I was 14 years-old and I barely do that anymore. It use to be a kind of therapy for me I guess. I think when I finish my current journal I will just stop. It's weird how things just get old afterwhile and I do not feel I need to do them in order to be okay. Maybe I can start posting pictures or something. :)

A Pleasant Sunday

Last night I went to Big Wang's in Hollywood for my friend's birthday and I have to say the wings were fabulous. I do not go to Hollywood much but everytime I go there is always a ton of people and a lot going on. I had a goodtime and was home by midnight..haha. I'm getting so old.
Today, I worked out and then walked to Starbuck's to treat myself to a drink. It's a beautiful day. I was able to talk to my oldest brother today and now I'm doing laundry and I did the dishes and cleaned my kitchen floor. It has been a pleasant Sunday and I don't feel worked up about having to go to work tomorrow. Usually, I hate Sundays, but this one isn't that bad for whatever reason. Maybe it's because Cinco de Blair is coming up and my girl is coming into town. :)
