Dentist

So, today I go in for my six month cleaning of my teeth. And something of course irritates me. Why do hygenist always ask you questions when there are tools in your mouth? And then when you try to answer them you get yelled at. And as you are trying to answer them you start gagging because of the tools in your mouth. So at the same time you are being yelled at you are gagging as well. Oh, and don't call me sweetie while you are cleaning my teeth. Thanks! HAHAA!

Little Richard

So, tonight my roommate and I watched the show "Celebrity Duets." I, honestly was not going to watch this show and then of course my fantabulous roommate said we needed to watch it. I have to admit I am now pretty much wrapped up in another reality tv show. Some of these "B List" celebrities are actually good. Little Richard is one of the judges and he is now my new hero and I am going to strive for the rest of my life to be like him...hahaha..jk! HIT THE HIGH NOTE!!

It Just Takes A Few!

I went down to Manhattan Beach again last night. I had dinner and stayed in with the girls as we sat there playing games and talking about everything imaginable. But most importantly, we spent the night laughing it up. And I love to laugh as most people do. I think it is the greatest feeling in the world! I realized when I was sitting there that it really only takes two or three people to make it so much easier to be in Los Angeles. I mean, not that it's not easy by now, but it's those few people that I just need out here and will always need in my life. It is comforting and I guess I am just grateful that I managed to have a best friend from my past and also gaining a new really good friend, which is her roommate. I feel good!

Jail

You know how you are suppose to get one phone call when you get arrested? Well, what happens if your one phone call doesn't answer? Do you get to call them again? Or is that it? And who would you call anyway?..I just happened to be watching 90210 the other day. Well, I didn't just happen to be since I watch it everyday because I am in love with it. But anyway I was watching it and Valerie gets arrested and calls David. But what if David didn't answer? Would she still be in jail?..haha!!

24 Hour Party People

It was my friend Reggie's birthday on Friday!! He and I decided awhile back that we would literally party for like 48 hours straight. We did indeed do this and today I am most definitely recovering...hardcore! It was our last big time for the next month or so as we are going to Vegas for a weekend at the beginning of October. It will be a short trip, but we need to save up money for that. So..why not go balls to the wall this weekend..HAHAH!! Anyway, it was a great weekend and I am actually getting ready to go to a barbecue here in a bit. Lots of fond memories this weekend and lots of good people in my life!!

Works Again

Not that anyone cares but my email works again. I know all of you have issues with AOL, but it wasn't even AOL. I had to reset a bunch of mumbo jumbo on my computer and delete some files. TOO MUCH PORN!..hahaha..JUST KIDDING!! If you wrote me anything I'll reply soon!!

Hey Everyone!! AOL is having an issue with email and so I haven't been able to send any emails out. I can receive them all, but they are having some technical issues and I can't write or send any to you guys. So, if you send me an email and I haven't responded it's because I can't..haha. Renee Russo

We saw Renee Russo when we were eating at The Counter the other night. She said excuse me to me and then sat right behind me. Fortunately, we were getting ready to leave and I wasn't going to be distracted my whole meal like when I saw Kelly Clarkson..haha. Renee Russo looks pretty darn good for her age!! I think she was there with her boy toy...HAHAHA!!!

And She Is Gone....

My mom left early this morning! Due to the recent events in London LAX, like most airports throughout the United States, was an absolute mad house. Because of this our goodbye was extremely short and rushed. This may have been a good thing when all is said and done. And my mom made it back safely to Kentucky so all is well!!
It's amazing how fast everything goes in life. I remember talking to my mom about how life just really flies by. Even the shitty stuff seems to fly by these days. The thing about my mom leaving is that I don't know when I am going to see her again. I can't say I'll see her on holidays or what have you because both work and money seem to keep us from doing what we want. I mean I guess that is the way it is with all of us. I don't know when I am going to see anybody again when they come visit or when I go visit them. And that drives me crazy. And that will be something that I truly never get use to.
It was perfect having my mother here. She reminded me of what it is like to be taken care of. I feel I have or had forgotten what it feels like to be taken care of or to once be looked after. Out here I feel as if I am all alone at times and so having her for a week was refreshing. She introduced me to some new things and gave me some helpful hints on how to maintain a clean living situation..haha. You know how mothers can be!! They always have to put in their two cents even if you are doing fine. And it was good to have her to talk to and to share with her where I am at now in my life and what surrounds me.
I miss her!! I mean I really do. My mom makes me smile and laugh like no other. Her comments astound me and bring me such a joy. I shall share one of my favorite comments from her visit!!

Marilyn: Well, what does Nicole Ritchie do anyway?

Blair: Absolutely Nothing!! She's like Paris Hilton in that her claim to fame is due to her parents/family. Nicole Ritchie is a crack whore. That is what she does.

Marilyn: Now, have you actually seen her doing crack?

HAHAHA...PRICELESS!!

Anyway, it was a great week with her. I miss her and always will. Even through my sadness today I managed to have a little fun. Reggie and I saw Kelly Clarkson while eating dinner. She was at the table next to us. We were both like two giddy school girls...haha!! It was perfect!!

Comfort

My mom is still here and we have been having a very goodtime. At times it can be exhausting being a tour guide, but I am okay with it since she is here. It's good to have her to talk to and just to be in my presence. I miss it and I always will. It sure does go fast though. Everything has to do with time anymore. I am just trying to make the most of it and take it all in!

Finally...

My mom comes in tomorrow afternoon and I am so looking forward to it. It will be exactly what I need. I have been missing people and family a lot lately and I just need someone around just for a brief moment in time. So, I probably won't write at all or maybe I will..who knows?
