I'm sleepy

Well, "Black Friday" and everything having to do with it is over. I am so very happy about this. Work has exhausted me and I don't think I will fully recover until after the holiday season. It's just too busy of a time to relax really. The highlight of this whole thing was walking inot the cash office at 3:30am the day after Thanksgiving and seeing that it was completely flooded from the toilet overflowing the entire night before. I spent the next hour and half mopping the bathroom and praying to God that the water in the cash room would not cause anything to spark and cause our entire system to go down on the busiest shopping day of the year. I know there is mold growing under the carpet and I guess it has happened a number of times before. The smell is getting better, which is always a plus. What a wonderful life!!! Anyhoo, my bro is in town for the week and I am beyond excited. I miss my family and friends the most this time of year.

I am just being nice

So, I am so fascinated by my generation. Obviously, we are much more accepting of things than that of our parents generation. For instance, I work with a 56 year-old guy who I absolutely adore and he is obsessed with Santana, CCR, The Doors, etc. He brings me his CD's and before we open the store for business I always play these CD's for him. See, I happen to like his music, but they're not albums I would normally put on. I mean, I would love to listen to Death Cab For Cutie or Postal Service everyday, but I don't because I respect him and I know he really enjoys it when I put his music on. The thing is, why do I have to tolerate his music? Why can't he tolerate mine every now and then? It's not like I would put on any hardcore rap because to be honest I don't even like that stuff. But if I were to play something like Scissor Sisters, he'd flip. Now, this issue doesn't make me angry or anything because I actually enjoy listening to what he has, but it just is interesting to me that I am expected to deal with it and play whatever he wants. Yet, I expect him never to listen to my music. Maybe I am too nice...haha!

Shakira said something in an interview today. She said that women are never fully satisfied. She said women have a number of different buttons. Where as men only have an on and off switch. She said a woman can have everything in the world and she will always want more. If a man or whoever continuously showers her she will always be looking for the something better. Now, I think this is completely dead on. Women will never be 100% satisfied and in some cases that is a bad thing, but in other cases it is good. What do you think?

So, I had a funny dream last night. Well, at least I thought it was funny. I was in a two seat pickup truck with Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, and Missy Elliott. Don't ask me why. Tom and Katie called me fat and then Missy stood up for me. And then I said something like, "F@#% off you stupid scientologists! What is scientology really anyway?"...hahah. And then I woke up or the dream just stopped. Whatever, it was funny!

I am obsessed with the new song, "I'm Sprung" by tpain. I seriously cannot get enough of it. It's a flippin jam and the lyrics are stupid, which makes it even better...hahaha!!

James Blunt and Depeche Mode

Oh My Gosh!! If you haven't already it would be in your best interest to pick up both the James Blunt album and the Depeche Mode album. The James Blunt album is so good I want to throw up on my legs....ahaha!! Seriously, every track is good. One album that I can listen to the entire way through. Not every song on Depeche Mode's album is spectacular, but the few that are make the album worth getting. I am sure everyone has heard their new hit "Precious." This song is so beautiful it makes you want to cry.
