It Just Keeps Getting Better!!

I, Blair Brown, do believe I get to work at the Academy Awards this year on March 5th. HOLY S#$@! I will be part of the bleacher staff, which I have no idea what that entails. However, at this point does that even matter? Because I am going to be on the red carpet. Yes, the actual red carpet!! For someone who is completely wrapped up in Hollywood it is a dream come true!!! LALA Land is treating me well!!

Everyday Is A Soundtrack

I have decided that everyday in life is a soundtrack. And maybe it is just that every situationo is a soundtrack. I walk around all day thinking about what song could play with each moment of the day. Is that pathetic? But seriously, give me a situation and I will tell you the song that should be playing in the background or in your head at least..:)

You Know What I Hate?

Okay, so I have found another pet peeve of mine. I hate it when you are in a parking garage and the driver in front of you stops to wait for a car to pull out of a parking spot. This causes a line and we all wait for another 10 minutes for this person to back out of their spot. The parking garage has 9 levels and I guarantee they will be able to find another place than the one they have chosen to wait for. Ans it's like people have to get on the first or second level even though it doesn't matter because you are just going to walk 10 feet to the stairs or elevator to get to your destination. They treat the parking garage like an actual parking lot. I mean we see it all the time at the Target parking lot and people are waiting for other cars to back out of their spot just so they don't have to walk too far to the front doors. But honestly, does it really matter where you park in a parking garage? The place you are trying to get isn't even right there. URG!!

Weekend Fun

So, I haven't had a weekend like this weekend in a long time. Usually, I do pretty much nothing or maybe I'll go out one night and take the next night off. However, this weekend was different for whatever reason. Friday, I had gotten a gift certificate from my DM for our Audit score and so Reggie and I started out at BJ's for happy hour and food. Later, we made our way down to the Space(2020) to see the 80's cover band "Fast Times.." Our friend Carlos, who by the way looks like Christian Bale, met up with us and we all danced the night away. It was glorious...haha! Last night, my roommate, Reggie, and I headed down to Manhattan Beach to kick it with Jaimee and Britt. We had dinner and went to Beaches and danced the night away again. It was fun and exactly what I needed. I absolutely love to dance so if I have the opportunity to do it I am stoked. Today, I will workout and clean as that is what I usually do on Sundays. It is my favorite TV night so I am feeling good about that. We all go back to work tomorrow and I am not looking forward to that. Hope all is well!

She Truly Is Immaculate

Madonna performed on the Grammy's last night and I personally thought she was awesome. I am not a huge fan of the song "Hung Up," but I got over it to see her perform. She still has it in her to rock out. I was in absolute heaven. Oh, and Grey's Anatomy is having an encore presentation tonight so I am STOKED!!!

Grey's Anatomy

So, I am obsessed with the show "Grey's Anatomy." Well, usually it is on at 10:00pm on Sunday nights. However, last night it was on after the Super Bowl and I completely forgot about it. And it didn't matter anyway because for some reason I was working on Sunday night. Well, it is a two parter and I am going nuts because I wasn't able to watch it. And nobody has recorded it and everybody keeps talking about it. URG!!haha..I was actually able to watch some of it online. Still, it's not the same. If you have a copy out there please send it to me..haha

Freaky Friday

So, today I had to be at work at 6am, which means I had to leave somewhere around 5:30 or so because I knew there would be no traffic for the most part. We have underground parking at our place and it can be creepy at night or even early in the morning. At 5:30AM there's not a whole lot going on so my neighborhood is still and fairly quiet. I get off the elevator today and start walking to my car and I notice something moving in the alley. It was just a shadow and it kind of creeped me out. I then turned around because I thought I heard something and I noticed that the door to where the dumpster is kept was somewhat open and inside I noticed there was like a light that kept flickering. Almost like a strobe light. I kind of just stared at it and then realize that this could be the beginning to a fucked up scary movie and I didn't really want to be a part of that. So, I got out of there as quickly as possible. But it was just spooky and weird!
