Oscar Sunday

I have to say that I felt the Oscar's this year were very good. I enjoyed them very much. And I also would like to say that I'm glad I didn't work them this year..haha. As amazing as it was, I think I might have had more fun sitting at home, eating unhealthy food, and hanging out with good people! We were audited today and I can chill out for a week until I am open for audit again! :)

Where Do These People Come From?

I've decided that the customers at the West LA store are much worse than the ones at Canoga Park. I happen to be the manager to take a call today from a customer and this is how it went....

Blair: This is Blair! How can I help you?

Caller: Blair! Are you a manager?

Blair: Well yes sir..they transferred this call to a manager so yes I am a manager.(I get this everytime I answer the phone and it is because I'm a female..I'm serious).

Caller: I need you to help me. I need youth baseball pants for a child who is 4 ft tall. I've been on hole for 15 minutes and I'm getting very frustrated and I'm about to call Sports Chalet.

Blair: I'm sorry about that sir, but have you really been on hold for 15 minutes?

Caller: It doesn't matter. Can you help me? I need you to help me. I need these pants. I need you to find them for me. I need you to find someone to help me or you help me yourself.

Blair: Hmm..okay, well let me go back to that department and see what I have for you.

I put the customer on hold and I walk back to the baseball department...

Blair: What size did you say you needed?

Caller: I don't know. I am the customer and you are the store you are suppose to answer my questions. You guys should be trained on what a large or a small is in size.

Blair: Umm sir..kids come in all different shapes and sizes. Some are small and some are large. Some are fat and some are skinny. Some are short and some are tall. I can't guage what size your child will wear if I don't have them in front of me. But let me go back and check to see how many sizes of each we have.........Yeah, we've got xsmall, small, medium, large....and so on.

Caller: Well, WHAT SIZE SHOULD I GET?

Blair: Hmmm...small...yeah, small sounds perfect!

Caller: Very good then. Do you have belts?

Blair: Yes, we have belts but they are bought separately.

Caller: What colors?

Blair: I'm not sure..I believe red and black. Yes..red and black.

Caller: YOU DON"T HAVE BLUE?

Blair: Umm..I just said we have red and black.

Caller: That sucks! Okay, well I am coming in there. Will you be there when I come in?

Blair: Actually sir, I'm going home right after this call but someone else will be here. Bye!

That last part was a lie. I actually had 5 more hours of my shift left....haha! I hate people!

NASCAR

I giggle as I think about today and its events! I went over to my friend's house for what I like to call "NASCAR Sunday." Now, I know nothing about NASCAR and so I had no idea what to expect. It was absolutely hilarious and I am amazed at how much she and her family know and how excited they get about it. I couldn't help but smile the entire time I was there. It was extremely refreshing to me to see family and friends together laughing and talking with each other. For whatever reason those are the moments that I seem to cherish the most. Even though I really don't know her family and her family friends it was still nice to be in the presence of that situation! I look forward to the next NASCAR event! :)

Catch And Release

I will copy my roommate and write a blog on the movie, "Catch And Release." I have to say that I did enjoy this movie. I didn't love it, but I liked it enough to recommend to others. I liked it mainly because it was suppose to take place in Boulder. I saw the hill, pearl street, and my favorite beer ever..SUNSHINE WHEAT! It took place in the Summer and Boulder in the summer is absolutely fabulous. I kept sighing and getting excited everytime I saw something on the screen that reminded me of Boulder and Colorado in general. It made me miss the place I use to call home and a place that I wouldn't mind ending up living in again. It made me think of my college days, of my friends, of my family, and of everything else that probably only makes sense to me and those people who have actually lived in Colorado or have gone to the University of Colorado! :) I miss you Boulder!!

JC Chasez

Okay Folks...laugh it up if you so please, but my dear friend Reggie played me a song by JC Chasez called, "Until Yesterday!" Yes, that's right! The former NSYNC who has always lived in the shadow of Justin Timberlake, who by the way is A MAZING..haha!! Anyway, this song is fabulous and I think everyone should get or download it or just hear it. Actually, I think there are a select few of you who will appreciate it so you guys should definitely listen to it. SHAKE YOUR ASS!!
