Colorado

I am approaching my trip to Colorado. I am extremely excited and somewhat nervous at the same time. How different are things going to be? How different am I? So much has changed but I don't think that is necessarily a bad thing. Nonetheless, I am very excited to be taking my vacation in Colorado. It is much needed. See you soon!

Comedy

I witnessed a funny conversation today that I thought I would share with you all. It was between two people that I work with.

Roxana: George, if you keep doing that I am going to beat the hell out of you.

George: Remember Roxana, I am gay so I have no problem hitting a girl!

HAHAHA!! I laughed for a good 10 minutes!!

Shock

I am worried that when I go back to Colorado I am going to go into shock because of the coldness. Because when it gets to 60 degrees here I am freezing. I am so lame since moving here. But I think it is totally worth it. Oh my gosh!! I CAN'T WAIT TO VISIT!!! WOOHOO!!

ACDC

So, I have come to the conclusion that if you want guys to talk to you then you should just sport and ACDC shirt. Because today I was wearing it and 5 random guys created a conversation with me...HAHA!!

Ringside

So, tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day and most people know that it is my favorite holiday of the year. We are going to see the group "Ringside" at the Troubadour and I am so flipping excited. Not only because I love "Ringside" but also because the Troubadour is a legendary place. It has a lot of History and I am just so excited. Happy St. Patrick's Day and Be Safe!!

Just Right

Sometimes I don't think it is normal for things to be going so right in my life. And I don't know if everything is really necessarily going right, but there's just not awhole lot that is going wrong. I have my issues every now and then but for the most part I am okay. My friend asked me the other day if there was anything new with me in L.A. I told her no and I told her but I think I like it like that. Because a lot of times with new stuff comes the stress and I was so incredibly stressed during the holiday season that it is nice to feel comfortable. I mean, don't get me wrong I think there is always something missing from my life, but that is normal and that will one day fall into place. But for now, life is good. It is nice ot feel content!

The Academy Awards

As many of you know I was at the Academy Awards on Sunday. I did not get to go to the actual show but I was on the red carpet for all the arrivals. I worked a pretty lame job before it started. However, once all the celebrities started arriving it was totally worth it. Ever since I was a little girl I have wanted to go to the Academy Awards. Everyone who knows me knows that I am obsessed with celebrities and anything having to do with them. I am a pop culture guru!! Mark McGrath even held the door open for my roommate and I. I am not a fan of him really, but he is still a celebrity. To have your credentials and just be able to walk pretty much wherever you want was fantastic. Before all the arrivals I walked down the actual red carpet a few times and it just felt fantastic. Here are just acouple pics from the show to show you all kind of where I was.

18 and Life

The other day my store manager and I interviewed a girl for a cashier position at my work. I told her she had to take a drug test/background check and we would call her when we were told it was clear to hire her. Well, she called the other day just to let me know she had taken a job somewhere else. She said, "Blair, I am going to take a job at a Lawyer's office because I want to be a Lawyer someday, but I thank you for the opportunity to work for Sportmart." I just lauged and thanked her for letting me know. It impressed me though because most 18 year olds would never think to do something like that. And I am sure she was nervous about doing it and her parents put her up to it. But, remember when we were 18?
