Ridiculous
So, I've decided to withhold a certain amount of money from my rent this month do to the fact that my oven has been broken since the beginning of November. I've notified the manager numerous times, the landlord numerous times, people have come out to look at it and nothing has been done to fix it. So, I wrote a letter and documented all the dates I brought it to people's attention and gave it to my manager and said, "When the over gets fixed I will pay the rest of the money. If the landlord has any questions he can call me." She told me good job and that she didn't blame me. It's weird because any problems I had when I moved in here the first few months were fixed immediately. And now, it's like pulling teeth to get it done. The building is old and most of the appliances are from when the building was built, which was like in the 60's. This is why my oven is not working. I don't want to have to move out of this place at the end of my year lease. I hate moving and now with all the stuff I have I would have to higher movers and the cost is a lot. Plus, it's a pain always coming up with the money for the new place. A guy came out today to look at the oven and said a part was broken and he couldn't even tell the model of the oven to get the new part because it was so old...haha. It's a shit show..haha. On the other hand, I really do like my little apartment and have made a home of it. A lot of shit went down at the first apartment I lived at when I moved out here and I wish we had been more stern with things and put our foot down. But I didn't know any better and was going nuts because it was my first time in LA...completely alone. Anyhoo, goodtimes and woohoo.
