To Dream

I was sitting at work today thinking about the possibilities of getting a new job. I became frustrated because I feel so defeated and limited to what I can do. So, I turned it around and thought about what my all-time dream job would be. A job that I know if given the chance I would be spectacular at it. I have always wanted to put the music to tv, movies, commercials, and so on. I cannot tell you the number of times I'm watching TV or a movie and commenting about the music they are using and how either I agree with it or how I would have used a different song. I feel that the music used in tv and movies is what draws people in and is what makes that particular moment on screen that much more powerful. We remember scenes not only by the actor or actress's performance but by the music that was used. Why do we always remember films by Cameron Crowe and Craig Brewer? We remember them because of the music they use. We leave the theatre remembering the details of the entire movie. I want to do that. I want to make people get lost in a show or film because of the music. I know that I get lost in music every single day. It never ever ends. Oh to dream.....
