Any Relation?
I was in Border's today purchasing a birthday card for a friend. The guy looked at my card and ID and started talking to me about the actress named Blair Brown. He asked me all seriousness if there was any relation between she and I. I responded with no of course but then it got me thinking. You know in the movie OFFICE SPACE when everyone is giving Michael Bolton crap because he has the same name as the singer. He keeps getting asked if he is related to "The Michael Bolton." And his friends tell him he should change his name and he responds with, "Why should I have to change my name? He's the one that sucks." Anyway, if I was indeed related to Blair Brown, why would my name be Blair as well? There doesn't need to be five Blair's running around in the family. And maybe he was just saying that because I have the same last name as her. But, hello!!! I have one of the most common last names ever. I thought for a minute he was just joking but then the look on his face made me realize he wasn't. Hmmm....

Remember that my uncle decided to name his daughter the same name as me when she was born two months later. So if one of us were famous, then there really would be two of us related with the same name. It could happen. But probably only in redneck families like mine.
Hahaha...I love that you just said that! And the fact that you used redneck is even better. I get called a redneck everyday at work.
