Let me tell you about the birds and.....

I walked outside our apartment this evening and noticed a beautiful bird just kicking it on the branch right outside our door. It looks as if it is hurt and cannot go anywhere. It made me think of when I was a kid in L-town, Colorado and it was a stormy night and I noticed a little bird hobbling around outside my window. My immediate reaction was to treat it as if it were a human. I made it a little bed with a blanket and shelter to protect it from the rain. I even broke up some bread for it and put it in the corner of the bed I made for it. Of course, when I went to get the bird it ran away and wanted nothing to do with the bed. Because why would a bird want to be in a bed? I mean, it's a bird and not a human!! It's just interesting to me how I immediately want to treat everyone like a human and that just makes me insane..haha!
