Brass Monkey

I had a terrific weekend if I do say so myself. I had to close the store on saturday night as everyone knows and it actually wasn't that bad. Sometimes you just have to deal with it and get over it. After work I headed to a cocktail party for the engagement of the store manager at the West L.A. store. They hired a bartender and had amazing food. We were all dressed up nice and everyone looked scrumptious. A special drink menu had been made and one of the drinks was called "Brass Monkey." Reggie and I must have sang that song like 10 times until finally no one thought it was funny anymore. And then our rendition of "Golddigger" was even better...hehehe!! I ended up taking a shot of tequila, which I haven't done in literally six years. It wasn't bad but my gums did go numb. Anyhoo, it was a fun weekend and I can't wait until this weekend when my girl, Mel C. comes to visit and hit it up west coast style with me. PEACE!!
