Airport Express

The airport is always such a fascinating place to me. It holds so many different stories. I just sat observing everyone when I was waiting for my plane in Kentucky. There's always the anticipation of saying goodbye that fills the grandparents eyes or even the parents eyes as the child is getting ready to leave. I watched a grandpa start crying because he was saying bye to his grandson. The grandmother just held onto her grandson tight and had trouble letting go. Her grandson just patted her back and told her it would okay and he was all of probably 10 years old. And then when I arrived in Houston to cetch my next flight I saw the anticipation of those waiting for someone they knew to come off the plane. They looked down the terminal just looking at every person that walked through the doors. I didn't realize that people were allowed to meet you anymore but at the Louisville and the Houston airport I guess they were. I never liked people to wait with me before I left. I just want to be dropped off and left to think about things on my own. It's still very sad, but you just get the goodbye over with.
