Homeless

I have been amazed at how many homeless people there in this city. I mean I have never really been exposed to it before. I saw some every now and then in Colorado, but the winters are so bad that I think it keeps them from flocking there. But here, here they cover the beaches, the streets, and the parks. I can't really say that I personally have been exposed to a lot of them begging for money. I mean I see them on the street corners, but they use to do that in Boulder. I usually see them sleeping or just walking with their baskets down the street. It's sad to see and you just wonder if they really have no friends and family. At least it doesn't get too cold here, but I don't see that making it any easier.
